University of Saskatchewan
Bachelor of Commerce (Finance)
Embarking on my undergraduate journey with an initial focus on engineering, I quickly discovered a keen interest in the business aspects of operations, prompting a switch to commerce after my first semester. This pivot was the first of many defining moments during my university tenure. As a committed member of the women's soccer team, I not only honed my athletic skills but also developed a strong sense of discipline and teamwork. However, the onset of COVID-19 dramatically shifted my university experience from the soccer field to the academic arena, leading me to embrace a role as a teaching assistant. This transition allowed me to deepen my engagement with the academic community, a fitting progression given my family's legacy at the university, with both my parents and grandparents having walked its halls before me. My academic endeavors culminated in graduating with great distinction, a testament to my dedication and hard work reflected in making the Dean's List consecutively for four years. While a student-athlete, I was honoured to be named to the Huskie First Team, and my academic and athletic balance was further recognized through achieving the U SPORT Academic All-Canadian accolade for two years, symbolizing the pinnacle of my undergraduate achievements.
