Facing a challenge to elevate new rider conversion rates and maximize profits at YVR Cycle, a burgeoning spin studio in Vancouver, Team Paris embarked on a data-driven mission, leveraging the company's rich data landscape. The project aimed to dissect customer behaviours, adjust for seasonal trends, and navigate competitive pressures, notably from Class Pass, to refine YVR Cycle's pricing strategies. Despite encountering complexities in analyzing nuanced customer behaviours and managing the intricate dynamics with Class Pass, Team Paris devised strategies to enhance YVR Cycle’s pricing models, addressing issues like resistance to shoe rental charges. This initiative not only sought to optimize the studio’s financial performance but also to pioneer a model for leveraging analytics in the fitness sector, demonstrating the power of informed decision-making in navigating the competitive and ever-evolving fitness landscape, ensuring YVR Cycle’s growth and customer satisfaction.
